The location is great. Close enough to everything! The staff was very helpful...he gave us tips to make the most of our time and money.....The hotel was very, very, very clean, I could smell the cleanliness of the room and fresh clean linens. I'm a clean freak person and this hotel passed my standards.
The elevator was not working half of the time. The apartment is on the third floor of the builiding so it was kind of hard going to all those flight of stairs after walking all over the city all day long.

Our host Diego was fabulous! Very friendly and offered lots of tips without us having to ask. We loved the location too - short walk to Las Ramblas but thankfully far away enough to have some good non-touristy restaurants and cafes. Very close to Contemporary Art Museum too, and easy to reach from Airbus.
The room was tiny - our double bed had about a foot around it on each side?! And a small window which looked out onto another wall, so basically no natural light. Didnt want to spend an extra second in our room, it was miserable!

I loved preparing my own meals in their communal kitchen before heading out to explore. The white walls and Baroque furniture added a touch of elegance to the hotel.
Who needs air conditioning in the summer anyway? Sleeping with the door open, feeling the breeze was such a unique experience.

1. Diago - Makes your stay 3 times better. 2. Location - It is just next to the city center. 3. Price - When it come to the place where B&B included and you have your own kitchen fully equip all day long.
It is not an hotel, but a room in apartment, and that is important to know.

What a wonderful place to stay! We had such a great experience here. The rooms are cleaned every day and it has a great location (being under a 15 minute walk from La Ramblas and even less for the closest underground). The caretaker, Dieago was such a jolly and friendly person, he was more than willing to give us hints and tips on how to get to the sites quickly and efficiently using the public transports. Love it! Would come back here to stay if I returned to Barcelona!
